![]() Rating: - I don't know what's wrong with the other customer reviewers!I recently read all of the customer reviews on this product and found myself laughing. Doesn't anyone know how to brew a cup of coffee? This product is excellent and I haven't had one single problem with my Brew 'n Go. I've heard that it overflows; that they can't pour the water into the unit; that the coffee tastes like rubber; that the maker turns on magically--or won't turn on at all; that coffee grounds get everywhere, etc. I think the problem must be with the users themselves. The first time I used this, I read the instructions beforehand, plugged it in, put my 2 tablespoons of coffee into the filter-- which is great I might add--filled my cup up with water, poured it in, added sugar and creamer to my cup, put the lid on, put it under the brewer, hit the switch, then had a steaming cup of wonderful coffee in seconds. I got to throw out my electronic mug warmer, too, since the coffee stays hotter longer. This product is great for people on the go, for people who only drink a cup of coffee a day, and for people who don't like to spend an eternity cleaning up! Rating: - Nice alternative to larger makers and coffee $hopsThe friendly Amazon.com box arrived today. Inside, well packed was the B&D DCM18S Brew 'n Go. The box is about the size of a shoebox, perhaps a bit deeper and not as tall. The unit itself is smartly designed for ergonomic simplicity and efficiency. The glossy black plastic has a look of quality and the gold lettering and logo on the front emote coffee shop functionality. A brushed stainless steel coffee cup, which is large, but somewhat squat completes the package. The cup is easy to handle and feels good in my (large) hand. The unit is small and has a small footprint. It is on par with hotel room coffee makers that make only a few cups (but look like a shrunken full size unit). Form follows function and the unit is nice to look at with well sculpted lines. Ease of use is the greatest asset. A "permanent" filter eliminates the redundant waste of paper found in other machines. I found that slightly less than the 2.5 tablespoons of ground coffee worked best for me, combined with a full coffee cup of cold water. About 2.5 minutes from power on to finished brewing. A few drops of coffee continue to drip out after removing the cup, so put a paper towel down to catch them and you're fine. So far so good. Looking forward to many more happy a.m. cups Rating: - Great coffee makerThis is a great little coffee maker. Since I'm the only coffee drinker in the house, I hated brewing half a pot for just myself. This is the perfect answer. It brews a great tasting 15 oz. cup of coffee (unlike some other 8 oz. brewers). It's quick and has its own reusable filter, so there's no need to buy special coffee pods. The insulated travel mug is great too, or you can use any ceramic mug instead.
