 Rating: - 5-star bowls: but they don't have lids + do you need all 3?I'm an avid cook who has used these Pyrex mixing bowls roughly 15 years. They look nearly as good as when I bought them. They're durable, easy to clean, nest for storage, and I like the fact they're see-thru. I generally cook for 2, and most often use the large bowl. I use it for everything from soaking beans to hand-mixing wet ingredients to rinsing grains. I don't use the smaller bowls nearly as much as the large one. In fact, when making recipes, such as cornbread or pancakes, where one mixes wet ingredients separately from dry ones, I use a bigger bowl than the largest in this set for the dry ingredients, so I can later mix in the wet ingredients without spillover. So, yes these are excellent bowls, but first evaluate your cooking pattern to make sure you really need all of them. (Most people are not vegan & may need a smaller bowl to beat an egg or 2, but it's still a good question to ask prior to purchase.) I also wish this set had come with lids, so they could double as storage bowls. Amazon.com also sells these 3 bowls as part of a larger set with 3 liquid measuring cups in 1-2- & 4-cup sizes. Rating: - Great Mixing Bowls!I absolutely LOVE these bowls. Definitely purchase a bigger bowl as well. The biggest bowl in the set is not big enough for some projects, but definitely worth purchasing. Great Product!! Rating: - FantasticGood set of bowls (and very nice looking) for the price, but I would definatly purchase the larger bowl which is not in the set. Displays pasta and salads nicely!
