Weighed me fine. The rest of it conked out. I could only program height in cm, not in feet & inches, then it would lose that... It defaulted back to 3'3" which showed me at 13% body fat, then 16, then 18, 19, 22, finally 33. This was all inside 2 minutes.

The selection of the user stinks too. The only thing this piece did do was weigh me correctly.

I'm returning it.

I bought this scale because it offered an analysis of body water as well as body fat. Upon arrival, I quickly ran into two quality problems, one minor, and one major.

The minor problem has to do with the buttons you use to supply height, age, and gender information used in analysis. They are oval rubber buttons located at the top edge, perpendicular to the main display. One of these buttons slipped out of position almost the first time I pushed it, but after a few minutes I was able to get it back into position and complete the programming.

The major problem was that after only a short period of use the weight report became almost random. Results taken within ten seconds of each other could vary by ten pounds or more, and could be off by twenty pounds from a reading taken the day before.

After replacing batteries, inspecting the pedestal feet for clues, and reading the manual from cover to cover, I was never able to figure out what failed. I ended up returning the product.

I give it two stars because the body analysis never failed.
