![]() Rating: - Nice Scale But ...It did seem quite accurate and I liked the style. The readout on mine was fine. But I had to return it because I found that if someone stepped onto it close to the sides the scale could tip toward that side and possibly cause the person to fall. Seems like they should mount the supports closer to the corners to prevent this. Rating: - Seems a good value and easy to read 1.8 inch displayI purchased the Taylor 7301-4102 scale from Walmart for $39.86 (with tax, $41.86) The scale appeared to be well constructed and I especially liked the large 1.8 inch readout. I used the scale for a few days and I cannot speak for its accuracy as I have nothing to compare it to but the scale seems to be consistent. After weighing I would drink a 16 oz. bottle of water and the scale would accurately reflect the one pound gain. I ended up having to return the scale because the LCD readout was missing the top part of its display, i.e., it was impossible to tell whether the reading was 181.5 or 187.5 lbs. I could decipher the 8 and 5 but it was impossible to distinguish between a 1 and 7. It was just too much trouble to have to have to decipher the weight because of a faulty LCD display so I returned the scale to Walmart with the intention of exchanging it for a new one but they were out of stock. For this reason I am looking to buy the same replacement scale from Amazon but the website does not appear to be ready to accept orders for this model. I would buy the same scale again if I could locate a supplier.
