I have had my share of problems with toasters in the past... This toaster is awesome! The crumb tray slides out nice and easy. The bread is held in place by two wire frames that hug the bread when the lever is pushed down. The bread toasts evenly. When your toast is done, it stays low in the toaster and can be taken out by lifting on the lever. I like this feature because the toast stays warm while one is being buttered. (I don't like to butter cold toast!)
