Hi. I don't cook much... that's putting it mildly! But I absolutely love that I can chop up a bunch of ingredients when I wake up... throw everything in the Slow Cooker, turn it on... and walk away! Then, when my husband comes home... I walk over to it, remove the lid... serve and enjoy!!<br /> <br /> The only thing that I will warn you of is that it isn't very big... it comes with a recipe book (which was a tremendous help), but I had to cut the pot roast in half from what the book said would fit, because the bottom of the pan is like half the width of the top. If you have a large family, I don't recommend this one, but if it's just you and your significant other... and maybe one or two small children... then this is for you. It will definitely free up your day! You can use it on the stove, then if you have left overs, you can put the whole pot right in the frige! It's great! Clean up... well, it's iron... but it has definitely made me less stressed about cooking! I don't have to worry about burning dinner ever again! :)
