After a few weeks of researching a REALLY good coffee/espresso machine I decided on the Capresso C1300 because of the combination of features and price. I recently took a trip to the Netherlands and at the hotel I stayed at they had a Super Automatic coffee center at the breakfast buffet (unknown brand or model, but definitely industrial). Anyway, when I got back Monday morning I immediately starting researching "Super Automatics" (they have a hopper to store the coffee beans and grind the beans on a per cup basis, have a holding tank for water... then when you push a button they grind, tamp, brew and dispose of used grinds automatically).

Well, earlier this week my new C1300 arrived with much fanfare. I picked it up at the post office, brought it to my office and unpackaged and inspected it. I was in perfect working order. I started with the included "quick start guide" and set the machine up per instructions. I had it up and ready to brew in less than 15 mins. The owner's manual was easy to understand and I had my first cup of coffee crema in less than 45 seconds after hitting the brew button. (For you coffee junkies, this machine makes a wonderful layer of crema on top of the coffee/espresso EVERY time!) The machine makes wonderful coffee and espresso. I spent a day or two tweaking the grinder settings and finding the right (according to my tastes) water settings per cup. I have several people come by my office daily to behold the wonder of my machine, at first out of curiosity but now for the great cup of coffee. I really have nothing bad to say about the C1300. In the morning it heats up very fast and having FRESH coffee anytime of the day at the mere push of a button is wonderful!
